NightTime

Swirling darkness cloaks the town,
shining sun going down, slowly down,
wicked sounds, sounds of the night,
screaming birds, a child's fright,

Fresh perspective to those who brave it,
obscenities covered, surfaces gleaming,
stars shine, like natural fireworks, sparkling bright
the moon's face in plain, plain sight,

Blacker and blacker does the sky get,
unparalleled silence is now the dark's pet
the roads are empty, the lights are out,
people sleep, till the morning's shout.

Fire and Ice

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Robert Frost

Funny Quip.

"Yes, I'm wearing sunglasses at night, but it's none of your damn business."
